Quiz Night Returns…
It’s on again – 7.00 for 7.30pm start, Saturday 5th.July at the Opera Studio, Netley.
Our biennial Quiz Night is a fun event to be involved in. Quiz Master
Christopher Stone will ensure challenging questions for everyone, not
just smart Opera buffs, so organise a team of your smartest friends and show
us your brilliance.
Bring a bottle (and glasses) of your favourite tipple and some nibbles and join us for this fun night.

President's Column
It is our very good fortune that Pelham Andrews, the Australian finalist of the European Broadcasting Union’s New Talent Competition, to be held later this year, is available to sing for us following a brief agenda on the occasion of our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday April 2nd at 7pm at the State Opera Studio, Marion Road, Netley. Pelham will perform the works with which he’s hoping, as we are too, to win the EBU Competition “Des sunders Reutran en sin des”, from Act 3 of Parsifal and “A te lestremo addio Il lacerate spirito” from the prologue of Simon Boccanegra. This is a wonderful opportunity for a special concert for the Friends and friends……..Jan Harris, President.
